STOPFORTH HOUSE

Stopforth House was built in 1886 by James Stopforth and is another example of a prefabricated wood and iron home. The museum displays the family’s lifestyle between 1892 and 1914. All the artefacts on display belonged to the family who occupied the house for nearly a hundred years.
