SOUTH AFRICAN GOLD PANNING CHAMPIONSHIP
Gold panning in South Africa started in Pilgrims Rest in 1997 after members of the Museum staff attended the Finland Gold Panning Championship in Tankavaara and decided that it would be a great addition to the tours and calendar in Pilgrims Rest.
